Bio
Dr. Justin D. Caskey was born and raised in Middlebury, Connecticut, where he attended Pomperaug High School. He completed his undergraduate degree at Fairfield University earning a Magna Cum Laude distinction with a major in Molecular Biology and a minor in Sociology and Anthropology.
Dr. Caskey went on to pursue his medical training at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNECOM) in Biddeford, Maine. He graduated with honors as a Psi Sigma Alpha Honors Society member finishing in the top tier of his class.
Dr. Caskey proceeded to complete his residency training at the nationally recognized Middlesex Hospital Family Medicine Residency P4 Program where he served as Chief Resident. He was honored to receive the prestigious Resident Teacher Award at his graduation commencement ceremony.
Dr. Caskey then finished his specialty training in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona’s Fellowship in Integrative Medicine under the guidance of the world renowned pioneer of Integrative Medicine, Dr. Andrew Weil.
Dr. Caskey went on to attend Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he finished his Medical Acupuncture training through the Harvard International Structural Acupuncture Course for Physicians with a special emphasis on non-pharmacologic pain management.
Dr. Caskey currently serves as an attending physician at Middlesex Hospital where he is the Director of Integrative and Osteopathic Medicine. He functions as Middlesex’s Integrative Medicine Fellowship Director where he works to oversee the training of the Integrative Medicine fellows in partnership with Dr. Andrew Weil and the University of Arizona.
Dr. Caskey practices as an Integrative Medicine specialist and Family Medicine Practitioner. Justin will be providing Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) combined with Medical Acupuncture and other therapeutics to provide cutting edge Integrative treatment for a wide range of medical conditions.
